What kind of bike are you looking for? If you just want an old cheap bike to learn on, I have an '82 Honda 450 that I am thinking about selling in a month or so.

If worse comes to worse I'll just take whatever I can get because I want to make sure I continue to practice after the MSF course. I'd prefer a sports bike and not too fast

If you're looking for a sport bike and 250cc's and noob-friendly, you're looking for a Kawasaki Ninja 250.
