Well you said you were a stubborn teenager but good for you listening to those who know better and walking away from this deal. Please also listen to them regarding your first bike, get something more appropriate for a beginner, you can always upgrade after you have learned all you can from a Ninja 250/500 (you will continue to learn for thousands of miles on those). And yes, definitely report the fu**ers.

As soon as jonnythan gets back to me on what he found on the company i am going to turn them in for investigation through a website that was sited on here. But what should i tell them i havent actually been scammed yet i only suspect its a scam i dont have any proof.

"freightplus@email.com" is a generic email account from mail.com

It's just like a hotmail or Gmail account. It's anonymous and free. I can go to mail.com and get, for example, westernunion@email.com or chasemanhattanbank@usa.com or something like that.

If they were really Freight Plus, they'd have an @frtplus.com email address, which is the real domain name for Freight Plus. That by itself is 100% total proof.

Furthermore, .st is the country TLD for São Tomé and Príncipe. As someone else pointed out, the website was registered and created a short time ago. Many foreign TLDs are super easy to register and totally untraceable and they are popular with scammers.


BTW, all of this "work" would only take an hour or two of time. Registering a domain name on a foreign TLD takes just a few minutes, the web site itself is totally generic and would take another half hour, and the email and bike listing woudl be another half hour or so. Not bad for taking in several thousand dollars.

Wow, so cool to see that we have yet again worked together as a community to make a difference in someone's life. I know it must be hard for you MattC because you probably really wanted that bike...but you will find the right thing when the time is right. I am sooooooo glad you didn't lose all your money and now you can take your cheque book and shop around at local joints.

I also agree with the others, do your best to avoid an RR for your first bike. You will be very thankful when you are honing your skills on something much more forgiving. If you like sport bikes, try a Ninja 250 or 500, or a GS500. They are fun little bikes!!!
