I think New York has a similar law. Whats funny is the law in VA doesn't affect out of state residents driving thru. Sounds like a constitution violation to me. Something about the 10th amendment? Maybe they thought of that already tho & worded it just right.
I wonder if one doesn't have the cash can one just do the jail time?
What would be real sweet justice tho is to have everyone in VA obey the speed limits to a T. So, the govt won't be able to collect a single cent.

Just saw a guy today, on a crotch rocket, getting a ticket.
At first I felt bad for the guy then I relized he was the same "A" hole who just got finished white lining through the traffic I was in, weaving in and out of cars at about 50 MPH.
Stupid sh*t deserves every point he gets.
