Hey everyone

#1 Unread post by MikeyJones »

I've been reading these forums for a while and thought I might as well register already.

Just a little bit about me - my name's Mike, I'm 21, about 5'6''-7'', 120-125 pounds (I'm just a little guy) and tonight is the first night of my motorcycle training course here in Winnipeg. I've got all my gear already (required to take the course here) and am really excited for it. I've never ridden a bike before, and I think tonight is all just in class stuff. Tomorrow night we'll be on the bikes, so I'm really looking forward to that. Wish me luck!

A great big welcome to yet another Canuck!!!

Good luck with the class. I am sure you will just love it and you won't be able to wait to get out on the streets. Hopefully winter will be late this year in Winter-peg for you!!!

Alright, today was just in class stuff. All very interesting and good to know, but after seeing the bikes in the garage down the hall from the classroom I started to get a little antsy :) Tomorrow is all on the bikes though, so that's looking to be tons of fun :D

There were really cool vibes going on in the classroom. Everyone was eager to learn, nobody thought themselves better than others due to prior experience, and it was just very friendly overall. I've heard the biker crowd is a friendly bunch, but this pre-biker crowd seems to be just as friendly!
