Pump pump pump, squeeze, open nipple, close nipple, release, pump pump pump, squeeze, open nipple, close nipple, release.
Do not let the reservoir empty out. Keep doing this until you get clean brake fluid through the lines and no bubbles. It's going to take a lot of worth though.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Ok, so you got a clog. Start from either end and work you way through, pull it apart again if you cannot get any fluid out when you pump. Check the MC, check the line (you said you already did), and the caliper. First thoughts are you might need to break down the caliper and clean it up real good.

from my limited (note limited) experience its kinda hard to get brake fluid to clog up. However I have always used a tight fitting rubber hose shoved into a bottle with a small amount of brake fluid in it and put on the bleeder valve. then do the pump pump pump until all the air comes out but I have only done it with my vehicles never a motorcycle so I dont know if it works or not. on motorcycles.Shorts wrote:The Doctor wrote:My friend's 82 kawasaki 440 had very old brake fluid so we decided to change the fluid.
