Where are you? What kind of training is required to get a license where you are?

The Fazer 600 may be too much for some beginners, but shouldn't be a bike you get bored of real quickly.

Its is safe advice to recommend a 50 hp limit for new riders. 75 hp or so represents a grey area. Of course some folks go right to 100+ hp and do fine but some wrap their bikes around trees. My Guzzi is 48 hp and I would have a hard time using any more power around my city.

I know European countries require a lot of training to get your license and if you recieve good training your judgement should be sufficient to pick a bike for yourself.

Some serious power on that sucker. Might want to tone it down at bit?

What exactly are you looking for in a bike?
