It's country wide. You decant the milk into a sealed container if your kids take it in their lunchbox. You don't reseal the bag, but you do try to drink it before it goes stale.
And if you think that's weird, milk in Germany comes in boxes that you don't put in the fridge until
after they've been opened. They're kept on a shelf with dry goods at the store...
