Missed a line off last post - The Targa passed me on the bridge but I was out of the tolls before him.
It made sense when I wrote it - but that was after 3 beers.

Will have to catch up on last week and today later in the week as I am in for Angioplasty tomorrow(11 Sept). At last the stents go in. Will not be riding for at least a week.

Speak soon.

Ade

Well, have been in and am out of hospital.

Tues 11 sept around 10;30 hrs radial angioplasty - that's going in through the vein in the wrist. Doc concerned about my anxiety and puts me out.

Wake up around 1300 hrs with 2 stents in. Advised the artery was close to closing.
Evening on the cardiac ward we watch a programme on Aztecs and the removal of their victims hearts whilst still beating. Wow that was topical.

22:00 hrs in pain - similar to angina but without the shortness of breath and arm pain. 22:30 hrs adminstered morphine.
Wake up at 06:30 hrs.
Doc checks me out and given all clear to go home.
Can't ride for at least a week (bike that is).
Will log on to work possibly Friday - Feel like xxxt if on feet for too long.

Speak soon

Ade

Hey, glad you're doing alright, sorry about the pain and not riding though! For someone like you who's used to riding over 200 miles a day, that's gonna stink!
Again though, glad you made it through alright! Keep us updated!

Ade, you take care of yourself and see that you get enough rest to mend up. First things first ;)

Galen,
glad to hear you caught it early enough and got fixed. You could have ended up with a triple bypass or something.

Hi Frog,
don't type all in caps, it's like shouting and also not so easy to read.
I get persuaded to set up a my space page (I've had it a couple of years but never did anything with it) I'll send you invites
Galen, sorry to hi-jack your blog, I guess we wouldn't post enough to be able to find anything we did otherwise and I think its bumping you closer to top( and easier to find)
