Suzuki Marauder VZ800?

Anyone out here own a Suzuji Marauder VZ800? How are they for handling and performance?

My wife and I owned one for a couple of years. Performance is mild - 44 horsepower. It will move if you kick it, but it's not going to pull your arms out. I'm sure there's lots of mods that will juice it up, but ours was left bone stock. Low speed handling is "floppy" - the fork wanted to flop to one side or the other. Once you got speed up, handling was fine - responsive and nimble as cruisers go. Fit and finish were OK, it's not an expensive bike. Stock seat sucks, but you can say that about lots of bikes. You just have to change it out for an aftermarket seat if you're going to put any distance on it.

I have a bum leg and will be putting a trike kit on it, so I can ride it. The only problem is finding a Marauder in my price range. It's about $2,300. It seems to be pretty hard find any in my area. Got any Ideas???

Only the idea you already had, I saw what's obviously your ad on Craigslist. Be patient, something will turn up. Thanks for the link. I will check it out as soon as posible. I am not sure about the patience put though. I'm getting Riding Withdrawl.
