Help PLease!!!!

Hey all I am lookiong at getting a 2003 Vulcan 1500 classic , so here's my question. When I test rode the bike I noticed the speedometer needle went all the way to the right and came back to zero (quickly) is this normal? I am looking at getting this bike in the morning so please respond Asap, And thanks.

If you mean it did so when you turned the key and started, then yes it would be normal. Todays speedometers are electric and not cable driven. I ride a 1999 Roadstar Silverado by Yamaha and it to does the over and back as soon as you turn the key on.

Thanks for the reply. It turns out you are right and it was normal for this bike.
