its their right to censor or not sell what they want. But they have no room to complain when a community bands together and votes them out of an area they compare that to party book burnings. walmart gets very upset when they are told they can not open a store because the people around say they cant. yet walmart sees fit to censor its products.old-n-slow wrote:If choosing not to sell something can be considered a form of censorship then I guess all businesses are guilty of censorship.
also theres a difference with not selling and censoring. they do both of course. simple not selling something is one thing, to censor it out and make it 'accetable' on their terms then sell it is just greedy. if they were serious about their desire to provide censored safe material to the people then why are some forms of media censored and others not? the same words with the content for music and movies yet movies are sold as is music is censored. its greed no question. if they were serious about providing only clean material they wouldnt allow uncensored movies to be sold.
