I've been riding my bike everyday now for about 2 months. I've put almost 2,500 miles on my bike already, but I'm starting to miss my car. I love riding my bike I just miss having music Does anyone here listen to music while they ride? I would think it would be a distraction, I know that my late step dads pan head had a radio on it. I thought about installing a radio onto my bike but I don't know if I'd be able to hear it
On anything other than city riding I wear those ear plugged headphones while riding. Unless I'm really focusing on the music I don't really even hear it. It's more of a background music to muff out the wind noise.

I'm pretty sure that the goldwing as well as the RS Venture both have built in volume control... Set it for the level you like, then as you speed up, the radio increases in volume to compensate for road noise. I'm sure they're not the only two...

I listen to my mp3 with headphones on while riding around the city. I never wear headphones during the day, but only at night when there are less cars and people are not driving as fast. There are too many distractions during a daytime ride.
I get paranoid though because I heard headphones are illegal in Colorado. There's no reason I would be stopped by police while on two wheels, but If I were, it would be difficult to conceal two head phones underneath my helmet.
