Which bike should I get

#1 Unread post by Wicche »

2006/2007 Kawasaki zzr600 or 2006 Honda CBR6004Fi or Yamaha YZF600R?
Power really does not interest me. I want the sporty ergonomics but not too extreme like with a super sports. It will be my first bike and I have already taken riding classes.
Seems to me that the CBR is made for ppl who are 5'10" tall.

Try sitting on them. I like Honda's, others like Yammies, and others....

Have you read this? New Riders... before you buy a 600+cc sportbike READ THIS!!!

It applies definitely to the CBR, putting out about 108 bhp. Great bike.
But you say you don't need power, so there are better options than the bikes you mentioned, SV650, Ninja 650, as well as the 500 and 250 Ninja's.

Hope this helps.

The SV650, Ninja 500, Ninja 650, and GS500 will give you the sporty look and ergonomics without being an expert-only race-ready bike. A lot of people apparently even race SV650s at the track.

If the power isn't the appeal then they're no reason for the 600r. I like the f4i but I'd find whichever bikes feels the most comfortable sitting on it.
