Most HDs have helicoils installed for the sparkies from the factory. At least the aluminum heads do!

I've never seen a heli-coil that was correctly installed work it's way back out. In fact some of the older British race bikes had every single mount drilled out then helicoiled because it allowed all the bolts to be installed at a higher torque rating.

I have seen people take helicoiled holes and try to cross thread the bolt into them only to screw up the helicoil but I have never seen one work its way out either. But if someone is worried about them coming out you can install a Keen Sert but they require a bigger hole for a larger thread to be made.
