Welcome
Thought I recognised the pici as a VN.
Well we don't get the extremes in weather that you get - here it's either warm rain or cold rain.

If you can see the tops of the mountain's it's going to rain.
If you can't - it's raining.
All Characters and events here are allegedly fictitious...Any resemblance with either dead or living is purely co-incidental
And don't ride faster than your Guardian Angel can fly
If you can't - it's raining.

Thanks for the welcome!
Hmmm, don't know that I would like that so much. We are a little spoiled here. Don't get that much rain in the summer and winter, well snow, not rain
What do you ride?

Just clocked up 25000 miles in 12 1/2 months (the daily grind)
Got a fish on the screen

put the fish on my vehicles as I used to run a number plate E666 HAB
for a while on 2 volvo's.

Hey Ade....
One of my riding buddies has the 1500 Drifter, red one. She got that because she liked the looks of her hubby's Indian, also red. His is pretty decked out. Just got himself a brown Corbin seat. Has fringe all over it, pretty nice. She loves her bike. It would be a little big for me, though. I am 5'3" and about 118 lbs.
I really like how her suspension is on hers, when you are behind her riding, you can see how it moves independently from the seat, pretty cool.
Fish, eh? That's cool. Can understand on the Volvo's with that plate

Hi
I'm only 5' 4" but weigh around 160 lbs - the VN is big but I run 130 miles a day to and from work and need the motor to take that punishment.
Luv it.

Hey Blues, I saw that on a t-shirt site, I thought it was pretty cute, thanks!
Hey Ade, the bike is nice......and you know, I probably would do just fine on it. The straddling part is the part that will get us shorter legged girls! As long as I can get my feet on the ground, I am fine.
There is a little lady, shorter than me who is on an 1800 Goldwing and she is also in a show group that does the precision riding. What she does is wear 5" soled boots to be able to ride the bike. Pretty impressive. They also show how to pick up a Wing. I've never tried it with my husband's bike, don't know that I would want to, but it can be done.
I really like my bike. My husband I never go on "short rides" unless it's on a weekly chapter ride, so the comfort of the cruiser is great! I had to have a riser put on it to bring the bars back a bit and of course, highway pegs, now I am pretty comfy! We also put a back rest on it, so I can really kick back on those longer rides!:bike6:

I can get both feet on the ground, although must admit have been wearing cuban heels since April (bought boots from sheplers in the states via the internet).
On right handers I hook the gap between the heel and sole on the rear corner of the foot boards. Like boards and the heels hold my foot nicely in position on the brake pedal.
