My 600cc sportsbike is far from too little. If anything it's too much machine for street riding.

I don't believe there's any size requirement to have fun on two wheels. I rode a 50cc mini bike that was a blast. A 250cc street bike is probably fine to put around the neighborhood if you ride smart. Anything larger is way more than capable of landing one in jail for excessive speed/acceleration. I roamed around Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on a slew of 80cc, 125cc, and 250cc bikes - never a dull moment. I've ridden the GSXR600, and 750s of the last 4 years, I'd rather ride a GS500 around town. The word boring doesn't come to mind though. I'll be buying a new SV650 in 2 months - I'll bet it's with me for many, many, many years.

Bored? Never, I might add to the collection though :D
Many say live to ride, I say ride is to live.

I have a Shadow 750, and I can see myself wanting something larger... or even getting bored with it. When I am out riding with others most of them have 1000+CC... when they lay on the gas a little bit, or when we go up the mountains I have a bit of a hard time keeping up with them. I tried out my friends Shadow 1100 on the highway and I got blown around a little less from the traffic and passing trucks than on my 750 also. I have a blast on my 750, but I can understand why people want bigger, heavier faster cruisers.
