Hello from Central Texas

#1 Unread post by LadyBosque »

Stopping by to say "Hi" from Central Texas (Waco area). Currently riding 07 Kaw VN900 Classic and loving it. Ride as much as possible, weather permitting. :cold:

If in the area, chime in and let's ride...

Welcome to the site and feel free to contact us if your up our way. We have been wanting to take a trip down your way soon for a one or two day ride. We are up in DFW and on my footer you will see my/our blogg so you can see the group. We range in age, mostly 40+ some younger some older. So feel free to let us know when your in the area. We do not ride hard, fast, or long so if that is what you like we would most likely bore you as we tend to stop a lot and see the sights etc.,.

Thank you for the welcomes... :thankyousign:

Patrick... I, like you, ride for the enjoyment. Prefer small groups where I can ride "as I wish" and have the freedom to speed up or slow down at will. I am a stay-at-home-Mom who doesn't (stay at home, that is.. 8) ) Now that my youngest has started school, I have the leisure to take rides during the days while hubby at work, and do so on a regular basis.

Next time you and your buddies are down toward Corsicana, let me know. You will be on the fringes of the Piney Woods. Know of some fun pine-lined sweeper country roads going down by Palestine that are a lot of fun taken in small groups. We own a small campground down by Lake Mexia, so I have been mapping out day rides for friends/guest that come to visit.

Also have Kury highway pegs with the Longhorn extensions. Going back on bike this morning. Since I put on the Mustang seat, I am considering pull back risers. Waiting for Santa Clause.. :christmastree:

We might be down your way today. We most likely will not do much other then hit Ennis or something like that and head back. Not yet sure, the ole Boars are still getting it all together.
