Excelent work, another bike resurected. All that work is something to be proud about.

Yeah, this was right after the last part was bolted on, and it was late in the day. The other pics I took were'nt that great from tlow sun angle and the glare, so we'll fix that as soon as he has some daylight off time when he's not asleep. He wanted to just ride it after 3 months off of it. It wasn't too happy about getting restarted after all that time, but it turned out to just be a bubble in the fuel filter, and a couple of taps took care of it.

It sure looks a lot better, Ron. Well done! You polished the rims, I take it? That really sets off a bike IMO.

The rims are stripped and polished on the outside rim area, and sanded and repainted with gold basecoat and candy apple red in the center spoked areas. Still waiting for photo opportunities with Chris due to his work/sleep schedule. We waxed the tank and side/tailpiece panels only so far. The front faring was just painted last week, so it has to wait awhile. More pics will follow, I promise.
