G'day from Rockhampton, Australia
G'day to all on this site. I just stumbled across this site and i reckon it is awsome. A little about myself i have just got back into bikes after an absent of 24 years. My current ride is a 1978 Kawasaki Z650B which i use for travelling to work and home daily. I just bought myself a 1988 Suzuki GSXR750J Slingshot in brand new condition, no pics as yet but i will post some soon. My previous bikes were Yamaha RD 350 (1st bike at age 16yrs) then the list goes on but not in order Suzuki GS 550, GS750, GS1000S, GS1000L, GSX1100S Katana the best bike ever, Kawasaki KH750 MachIV, Honda CB 750 K1, K6, F1. I am just hoping the GSXR750 is just as reliable and faithful to me as the old Katana was. The Kawaka 650 has alloy wheels, twin front discs, 750 barrels pistons head and cams and goes ok. I will eventually tidy it up over the next 12 months and then sell it. Anyway great site and hope everyone has a joyous new year.

That's pretty cool, we truly are worldwide!
As a side question to you, I'm in a Motorcycle Mechanics school here in the United States right now, but I was seriously considering moving to AU once my debts were paid off and such. Any idea of how much bike mechanics are needed there? If it helps, I'll be specializing in Suzuki and Yamaha. Any input would be appreciated.

G'day Wrider, thanks for the welcome. I wish you all the best in your motorcycle mechanics school. Well i do hope you come to aussie land one day and when you do i hope you enjoy your stay. As for motorcycle mechanic jobs i am sure you can find a job in any of the major cities or even the smaller country cities most likely depends on where you would like to live. Hope this was some help.
