My knees ache...

My hands are cramping, my knees ache and my legs are damned cold...

But CeeGee is back on the road and going as good as ever... minus a couple of little details like tha chainguard, speedo cable and tax disc...

But she still rocks along and hopefully I wound her off enough when I blew past the mobile camera unit...

Sorry after being without for 6 months the cost and the lengths its taken to get her back on the road I just had to share...

Finally! - still couldn't make it to the Egg run though, eh!!?

Toyuzu - not sure what your equivalent is, but we have to pay road tax every year (goes from £15 - 80, depending on size of bike). You have to display a valid "tax disc" on your bike to prove you have paid. (diplayed in one of these:-

Road fund licence (tax disc) is a yearly charge for having a vehicle on the road. The disc itself atttachs to the frame of the machine so the Police can see that your machine should be on the road.

I think statewise you have something similar that goes on your licence plate.

I'll scan one tomorrow and put it up!

Getting the bike back on the road required the help of several friends and a long staying the garages of Duken and Keyoke.

So I wasnt very happy last night when it was reversed into last night. I went out to give some friends some money after they left a nightclub (and yes any excuse to take the bike out is a good one) parked up behind a 4x4 - I figured that its a one way road and I'll only be 10 metres away so it should be safe.

I mid conversation when I hear this crunch, as I turned round I saw the lights on this 4x4. I went from standing to sprint.

The guy had backed right up on to my front wheel.

I could not believe it, I mean what are the chances?

Looking at her today though she is fine, paintwork on top of the front mudguard is completely missing in one patch but othrewise she is fine. Which is just as well as I was dreading telling everyone who had lent time and resources to getting the pair of us back on the road.

What a tough little bike and what are the chances?

Mostly I was babeling "I've only just got her back on the road"

The guy was genuinely apologetic and is a bouncer at Retribution so I can find him if its any worse than it appears...

I can cope with cosmetic damage. Its only paintwork and that wasnt perfect to begin with.

Blonde Jo says I am cursed and is breaking the news to Si gently for me.

On the plus side I've just managed with a bit of brute foce and use of weird angles managed to get the bike off the road and behind the house, so I may sleep tonight...

and to top it all off the CZ125 and CM125 arrive Wednesday - hurrah! Much bikeness! and after finding the Speedo cable it took me less than 5 minutes to fit to CeeGee...

I'll throw up a picture after I get a decent one on digicam.
