Snail and Tortoise

A snail was attacked by a tortoise.
When asked by the police if he could identify his assailant the snail replied,
"No! It all happened so fast!"
I always follow the rules.
The only exception to the rule occurs when I make an exception to the rule not to make an exception to the rule and that only occurs under exceptional circumstances.
