Makes you feel like you're 20 again eh? Proves what I been thinking, motorbikes are better for a bloke then stalagmite.BikerEd wrote:Just found this site,Great. What was your first bike?
Always ask why.

New "Old Guy"
Never had to use stalagmite yet, bikes seem to work for me.
My first bike was a 1949 James 125cc made in England, the other 100 or so included AJS 500,Triumph 500,750,350,125 .BSA 650,500. Norton 500. Royal Enfield 350, 500. Harleys 2. At least 10 Honda 750. Suzuki 550,750,850,1100,1200. Best touring bike was a Yamaha 1100 Maxim, loved that bike. Forgotten a few . Enjoyed every one of them. Ed

Re: New " Old Guy "
Welcome Ed, great to have another biker here in their 8th decade of life. I've been driving as long as you've been riding, but I got a late start riding at age 52. Just 23 years and 360k miles on 6 bikes so far and still feel like 19 again when I'm riding.BikerEd wrote:Just found this site,Great. Been at this biking thing for 59 yrs. and can't seem to quit. Longer Season
Been thinking of some travels South, then the tornados hit . All we get up here is snow and cold,no real crazy weather. Would make a good summer trip down to Texas. Keep your eyes open for a Black Suzuki Bandit, might be me
