Safety-Boy, glad you're up and able. Whoever hit you and ran will get their come-uppins!

Unfortunately I know a number of people who just hate motorcycles and riders in general. I've heard talk about trying to knock riders off their bikes by opening doors, cutting riders off, etc. and its usually said with some enjoyment. I get pissed off at these people but its definately scary stuff to me that people even think of doing something like that.

I'd keep a log of this talk, in other forums, posts like that have lead to prosecutions when an incident has occurred with these folks in their respective city of residence. I believe the term is 'premeditated'. Keep an eye out.

wow, i am sorry to hear about your accident. glad to hear that you are not down and out about continuing to ride. Hopefully you can get a new bike soon and get back out there.. the nice weather is right around the corner.

The 900 is toast. Just got word that it is totaled, which is good in my book. I wouldn't buy a wrecked bike, so I don't want to own one (if I repeat myself, it is the percacet talking ).

Will probably just hang on the 500 for a while. That is two bikes in two years fallen prey to the lovely folks in Fayetteville (other was stolen, 636). For the short term, I need to get an Evel Kneivel/Dr. House rig for my cane. Walking is a bit tough at times, so the cane is a necessity.

Going to bite the bullet and get a car - a Mini Cooper of some type.

Once the wife is back out of school and bringing home a paycheck, I just might look into a Rocket III , but I do love that Aprilla Tuono .
