First of all where in any of my posts did i say that? Nowhere! Secondly your all fine backing power whos getting a busa as a first bike but dont like the idea of me having my 750! Deal with it.

:diggin:

Now see, this is being plain disrespectful. Stop being a punk. None of us EVER said "go ahead and get the busa", and the people that did say that have heard that same statement again and again (and aren't being serious). We don't have to deal with it.

And power, congratulations on rethinking it. A ninja 250 is an awesome bike, you're going to have a lot of fun on it.

Hi power, and welcome to the forums!

i've found some "Substitutions" for the 'Busa that you might like...

What about a Suzuki GS500F... http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/2 ... GS500F.htm

The suzuki Katana 600
http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/2 ... ana600.htm

The Kawasaki ZZR 600
http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/2 ... ZZR600.htm

If you want something even MORE sporty...
The Triumph Daytona 675
http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/2 ... Triple.htm

These aren't well, the best begginer bikes you can get, but i can tell your not really leaning toward a Ninja 250/500/650.

These are really sexy bikes, like the Busa.
-2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250R - Current Ride
-2007 Suzuki DR650 - Sold
-2007 Kawasaki Eliminator - Sold

Umm, to edit the list, the Daytona 675 makes more HP/TQ than any of the supersport 600s from the Big 4... I'd recommend that if looks are so important to you, check out the Honda CBR600F4i. It's got less HP/TQ, is more beginner friendly (although still more than I'd ever recommend). It's also more comfortable (relatively) than the RR, and has cheaper insurance...

I loved the CBR600F. Got it right after DAS in England, as many do. Maybe its something about Honda, but it never felt scary/hairy/or lairy.

That's why (after this self imposed break) I'm not sure if the Versys is going to feel too....clunky. The inline 4 just.....Vroom....no, Vrim.....no NRRRRRRRR, Vrim Vrim, WREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Yup.

You're right SBK 15, I'm not really whole hearted on the Ninja 250R. The left side of my brain says starter bike, the right BUSA!

I'm going to start of small however in order to greatly reduce the chance of wreaking any Hayabusa I buy. :oops!:

As far as starter bikes go looks aren't even a factor. That Triumph looks, well, awesome but I don't think it'd make a great starter bike, maybe as one of my stepping stones to the Hayabusa though.

I watch a lot of Top Gear and have a habit of imitating Clarkson's "POWER" quote when I go WOT in my car.

Oh, yeah... Helmets. I was looking at this one: Link

Thoughts?
