Riding a motorcycle is a privilege, not a right. If your religion does not allow safety gear, buy a car.

Again I have to ask, how is riding while wearing a turban any different from riding while wearing one of those non-DOT and non-Snell approved thin plastic skull cap that some riders use?
Always ask why.

I have a full face helmet, but the chin guard can be tilted up with the visor. So when I go into a garage or shop, I tip it up anyway (to breath, talk, etc.) Nonetheless, one of the shops by where I live has a sign outside which asks all who enter to remove helmets & hoods etc. on entry. I went in with a cap and asked to leave, even though I'm early 30s and obviously not some teenage thug. The point about letting women in full burkas' (or however ya spell it) is right, it's a blatant double standard... but then, what's new!

lol it gets better

I was at the gambling here a few months ago, and I was walking around with my helmet in my hand for approx 2.5 hrs (I never leave it on the bike) I was approached by security and told that I either follow them right now and cloak the helmet or leave immediately by escort, I said its just in my hand im not wearing it, the response was "but you could".

I think my facial piercings are what seems to be the attractant to these people. Dont judge a book by its cover I say :)

Anytime I feel like gambling I just ride through the downtown loop. I can wear my helmet while I play that way.

Exactly.

So in both cases the person can sign the waiver that I mentioned in my first post.

Why does everything have to be resolved in this country by childish precedent? That is why Canada's laws seem to be based on "two wrongs shall make one right".
There is no such thing as a bad motorcycle.
