ok that has to been the dumbest thing ive seen in a while. dunno what was the worst of it all, the news people, the cops or the guy on his bike.

i didnt know the katana was a high performance crotch rocket though, guess ive been playing down my own bike. cant imagine what they would consider and R1 if the katana is high performance crotch rocket.

If they didn't, they sure as hell should have...

I wonder just what courses he took before he ever put the key in the ignition and got on that bike??? I've been forced to lock up and skid a lot farther than that and never dropped the piece of cr*p I was riding, and that was when I was a brand new rider 17-18 years old.

(Piece of cr*p = 1971 Kawasaki H1. If you've never had the joy of putting that rocket between your legs, I think you're lucky. It had a ton of speed, just no stability, handled like a pig and the 2 stroke engine just screamed...)

I also can't believe that this forum censors my post... c.r.a.p. is a "BAD" word????

but not the word cr*p... just how dumb is that???

I apologise in advance for the foul language, but I was just trying to make a point about how stupid the censorship can be...

Edited for content by author, now if sev would be so kind as to fix that one word...

You're apologizing after the fact there. And I can defend prick, as in I pricked myself with a needle....

The poor guy was probably nervous as hell in front of all the coppers and the TV camera.
I went to an open day at a motorcycle rider testing centre where anyone had a chance to see how they would go doing the current test to get a licence. To see riders that have had years of experience do exactly what that guy did was amazing. A bit of pressure and some time to think about what you have to do is all it takes.
