If it's just cold, you can dress for the cold.....

I spent the morning chatting online to a friend in another city.

I remembered that cold tires suck. And that I'm glad I learned on a dirtbike. And not to shift mid corner on cold tires.

not just cold, there's still snow and ice on the roads, and where that's melted theres salt and sand everywhere. i don't think they make knobbies for the vtx

now, if i still had my zuma.... this would be an entirely different story

Snow and ice are a different story. I don't even take my 4 wheels out when it's icy. Too many yahoos out there. I'd rather walk or take transit when it's icy and snowy.

I was awakened by the phone at 6:05am today. No...it was not someone who left their door wide open again....

It was my sister. She had to take her partner into emergency around 5am...and of course that meant dragging their 2 year old son with them.

So....I got up and got dressed and drove to the hospital and picked up the nephew.
I had forgotten how labour intensive it is spending a whole day with a small child. Phew....exhausting.
He was so busy and curious all day. I could not get him to have his afternoon nap. He waited until we were in the car to go home. I think he conked out about 3 minutes after we got on the road.

My sister cooked dinner. :)

Hope your sister's partner is okay, Blues. ^

I just got out of work at 8am. On the drive home I ate some dots. Now I am sampling some new music from Destroy The Runner. If you're into hardcore/metal, check them out.

Work consisted of cleaning stuff, stocking stuff, cooking some food, and shooting the "poo poo" with Bob, the fire captain from one of the small hill towns. Always has an interesting story to tell. Some funny, some upsetting, and some cool.

Working, working working! Finished mon and tues's work yesterday, so now I have more free time than usual. After work gonna rush down to Team Powersports and see what their selection of Scorpion and Joe Rocket gear is like and see if any of it fits. Can't seem to find a store that stocks any of the brands I like. =/

Bah. I wish I had a night shift job. I cant stand working through all the daylight hours. Finding an electrical/computer engineering job that works nights, hah, now that'll be a challenge.

Thanks for the DtR recommendation. Will have to check them out when I get home. Damn work has the best web filter I've ever seen.
