MCN [US} is a little expensive, but has more information about riding technique and motorcycle engineering/tech than anything else published in the US. Rider is nice if you're into touring, but their idea of "performance" is confined to fuel mileage. Motorcyclist lost its best tech editor ever about 5 years ago and one of its best writers about 3 years ago, and I see it as pretty much a waste of money. Cycle World is still OK, good road tests by seasoned writers.
I've never seen Roadrunner--izzat a cruiser rag? Or a mag about "60's Plymouths?

cycle world and motorcyclist are fit only for toilet paper.all they have now are advertisements and some homemade super bike that you can get an exact copy of for $166,000.

The paper's too slick to work as TP, but I do keep it in the bathroom along with my "You know you're over 60 when" book.

Cruising, touring, it's mostly about touring. The riders in the stories ride all kinds of bikes though. I just picked up the June issue, and it's got stories of rides on everything from an F 650 GS in Rio De Janero to a tour of New York's back roads on an Aprilia Tuono R. They pretty much run the gamut.

The page quality is stellar, more like a book. It's pretty photography focused too. It has the feel of a mag that's written by amature journalists who love to ride and tell stories about their rides.

Oh, it's got an article about the Benelli TNT 1300 too.
