The little involuntary quips from the guy video recording were kinda funny. Also of note is that a beginner friendly bike can still wreac havoc in the wrong hands.

Just do a search on YouTube for "motorcycle crash", you will find many many reasons to take the MSF.

I took the MSF course last year. I think it should be mandatory for all riders before they are issued a license, wether they are experienced or not. They would definitely need to work on lowering the fee though. It wasn't cheap.

While I agree that taking the MSF course before getting on a bike on your own is a good idea, common sense should have told this guy to just let off the throttle. No MSF course will teach common sense.

I watched it a few times just for his comments. The guy on the bike... Well, I haven't actually ridden a motorcycle yet, so I won't comment until my first time on - I don't do anything as stupid as that.

Nah, the first time on a bike is scary for anyone. Starting with baby steps via the MSF would have probably prevented that.

Too busy showing off to his buds....notice the guy who ran to him holding a helmet?
Always ask why.

Can't say too much there. The first time I tried to take off on my nighthawk, I had a hard time letting go of the throttle too (Not sure why the tendency is to hang onto it, no matter what). Fortunately, I was in my yard, and all the bike did was spin about 180 degrees and stall out.

Yeah, probably coulda gone smaller, but, I like it.
