we were going to do that too. instead my wife was led down by a bagpiper playing scotland the brave (i r scottish) twas totally surprised, had no idea she planned that as her wedding gift to me

The song that stirs me emotionally is Radiohead- Creep. The lyrics of this song is awesome.

Way too accurate for my life...I'm always on the verge of losing it at 'my son turned ten just the other day, he said, "Thanks for the ball, Dad, come on let's play, can you teach me to throw", I said "Not today I got a lot to do", he said, "That's ok"

It's like a scene right out of my childhood, except repeat it several times. Could only get my dad to play with me once or twice IIRC.

But I guess I was lucky to have a dad, a lot of people don't even get that.

The sad thing is that 'the song has been covered more than fifty times, including versions by Sammy Davis Jr, The Fifth Dimension, Psychotica, Andy Williams, Waylon Jennings, The Four Tops, Frank Sinatra, Beggar's Opera, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Hugo Montenegro, The Queers, The Negro Problem, Glen Campbell, Maynard Ferguson, Stan Kenton, Justin Hayward, Vic Damone, Michael Feinstein, The Three Degrees and Liza Minnelli. Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Ed Ames'* (To name a bit more than a few)
