Cool!motorcyclinmama wrote:I just bought an electric jacket liner (Tourmaster Synergy).
And you left it on too long, became dehydrated and are suffering from delusions! Go get some help!I absolutely love it. It is infered instead of heating elements. It heats your blood by heating your spinal cord. As your heart beats you can actually feel warm blood flushing through your legs when it is really cold out.

I picked up two last year when they came out which I've referenced in numerous posts. They have a much better heat distribution than my Widder or Gerbing. I think it's the best bang for your buck for heated gear.
However, either intentionally or unintentionally you are stating the impossible. Heat is infrared radiation. When you feel the heat from your stove, that's infrared radiation. This jacket doesn't use a beam of infrared to heat your spinal cord and thus the rest of your body. Were that even possible, at the temperatures the jacket produces your spinal cord would get cooked well done on a trip to the store. Tourmaster is just trying to make the synergy gear sound cooler by stating heat as infrared. The jacket produces heat the same way Gerbing does through electrical resistance. That heat is simply conducted through your shirt to your skin.
Sorry mate but if you feel the heat flushing through your legs, you've got issues.
