Scooters

well, I don't know if the Reflex gets that high a mileage - but it will probably ride similarly to the Rebel. I don't know this for sure, maybe someone else out there would be able to confirm.

So, despite the name - some of these scooters could be great rides - even though the best of them looks a little emasculated compared to a regular motorcycle.

I found a review that said that the Reflex got lower MPG than the Rebel.

I don't see how a Reflex could ride like a Rebel when a Reflex is automatic.

I don't like the looks of scooters really either.

I'm going to research gear for the cold and rain, but if you get bored you can discuss it with me here. Keep in mind that I live in southern Ohio.

Can you do modifications to every bike to get better gas mileage?
Can you put a bigger gas tank on a Rebel? & is it wise?
I am only familiar with increasing mileage with chain driven bikes since the gearing is easier to change. Get different sized sprockets to drop the RPMs and then add a K&N filter and behold some more mileage.

Adding a bigger tank for the Rebel is quite difficult since there aren't many parts like that for a small bike. Plus having a bigger tank on that bike would make it top heavy and decrease the room you have to turn that handle bar unless you modify that too which really does need some to get more leg room when turning.

I got to ride on a Honda Reflex from a neighbor and it is quite zippy compared to the rebel.
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

Yeah, if you don't like the looks of it, there's no point in getting one.
