so obviously im new at this. I plan on owning a bike sometime this summer, like julyish, and I was wondering if there are any people near who would want to ride together and maybe show me the ropes. I live near Tulsa OK.....

First step is to take the MSF course. They will teach you the basics on a closed course, on a small , easy to handle motorcycle.
