My wife and I will spend 10 days riding around Germany with a stop for a Radiohead concert in Berlin halfway.

Then we'll do a long weekend to Brno for the MotoGP.

I'll probably do another longer trip on my own, maybe 2 weeks. Perhaps, Slovenia/ItalySwitzerland/Austria.

Some long weekends here and there in between.

High_Side, yes, I am looking very forward to the trip. I just received the information today for the Quebec Maritime route around the Gaspe. I'll then head over to PEI and then to Cape Breton - it should be a wonderful trip. I'm thinking of going west next year but I have to figure out how to get my bike out there - VIA doesn't take bikes anymore. Anyway, I'm hoping to do the western provinces of Alberta and BC next year.

Isn't that why they invented ashphalt??? Just so you could ride across the country??

Dr_bar I hear you man, but the reality is it takes too long to get across this big 'ol country of ours and I only have so much vacation time. It took me 3 days just to get from Winnipeg to Toronto when I worked out there and it's another 3 days from TO to Halifax, and that's in a car. Anyway, I do hope sometime in my life to ride from ocean to ocean on my bike - it may be a retirement present.

To my place in Lake Pleasant (1 hour north of Lake George) about 4 1/2 hours from Rockaway by car.
I'm going to tow my bike up though,I'm not ready for a ride that long,I need a more comfy bike than my Nighthawk 750

Gotcha...probably means about 5.5 hours from Trenton area. Thanks for the info. Some nice scenery up there by what I gather.
