Finally got a bike!

Hello everyone, from Washington State. After wanting a motorcycle since I was 5 years old, I finally got one! Took a couple years to convince the wife, but she finally agreed that if I take the safety course I can get one. My first choice was a Harley, but those are a little outta my price range (for the one I want) so I settled on a Gixxer 600 due to a deal I could not pass up. So far so good. It handles awesome and it's pretty comfy for a sport bike. Anyways, I look forward to chatting with you all!

I used to ride dirtbikes a long time ago (about 10-12 years ago). Kinda got away from that due to moving to a different area so street riding is fairly new to me. Only been riding on the street for a month or so. Loving the 07 GSXR 600!! I know many recommend not going with an R bike for the first one, but I'm taking it easy and loving every minute of it. 2nd day on it and I already had to pull an evasive maneuver to save my hide (and the precious bike of course). Wish I knew how to put pics on here cuz I'd definitely show you the bike.

Enjoy that bike dude! Nice pick but just remeber to respect that throttle, especially the first season. Those 600 SS bikes can bite you in the as* real quick. They handle awesome though in the tight stuff

I hear ya on that. Soooo sensitive. That throttle is scary powerful!! It's gonna be a while before I take into some traffic
