Guys:

What brands of alarms are those?

About how much do those go for?

Anyone else have a review of an alarm?

This does "pee" me off.The general rule of thumb I grew up with was look but dont touch.Even with friends when they get a new ride you always ask permission before sitting on their bike.I mean people dont go and sit in other peoples cars do they.I think a might install a Tazer in the seat someone sits on it 20000 volts straight through their arse.

also how big are they on the bike? are they easily hidden?

My bike tends to get a lot of attention when it's parked, I've never seen anyone touch it though, often it's older guys that want to look at it and they tend to be more respectfull than kids/teens/whatever.

My biggest fear comes when I see little kids looking at it, I'm afraid they're going to touch the exhaust.

Consider it a learning experience on their part, and their parents.

I have a Datatool System 3 alarm and immobiliser, which is Thatcham approved, on top of Yamaha's factory immobiliser (fitted to 04 and 05 R1s) and it retails around £300 in the UK including fitting.

But I do.

If someone is stupid enough to try to touch an exhaust of a bike, car, bus, whatever, their parents should be watching them.

If not, they will learn not to do it again, and it won't cripple them.
