What ae you getting for gas consumption? Answers in km/l, mpg Imperial, or mpg us. Please state which if you reply!
I seem to be only getting 40mpg Imperial on my 78CB400

I don't know if you can compare, because I have an 82 CM450A...but at last check I was getting 61 MPG U.S.

That would be about 75mpg Imperial- pretty damn good! The bikes aen't far off- the 400 is 399cc, and yours is 436- or near there. Nearly insignificant.

I finally got new needles and seats from David Silver Spares in the UK- $70- but gas consumption went from 12km/liter to 23. Problem sorted!
