Hemet Shield Review

#1 Unread post by Brackstone »

This guy rated the visor really low so I was curious and I read his review:

Nicholas Williamson
Savoy, IL
Silver Silver/mirror tint looks good at first, then my girlfriend tried to clean it with windex. It destroyed the tint and can't use it anymore. $35.

hahahahhah

That's like saying "TV picture looked great until I put a wrench through it, now the screen is mostly destroyed so I can't use it anymore"

Oh sweet jesus... NEVER use any amonia based product on any sort of tinting. It can turn car tinting purple.

I know! What I find funny too is that the store has not removed the review.

Don't get me wrong if you are building furniture and you do it wrong you have every right to say "Furniture looks great but assembly manual is horrible! I damaged my new Entertainment System!" that's FINE.

But this guy thinks what he and his girlfriend did is OK?! That's just ridiculous! :)

That's the beauty of the Internet. You don't have to look far to find a post that screams, "I AM A DOOFUS AND I DON'T EVEN REALIZE IT!"

I ran across one of these on an aviation forum last month. The guy was complaining about needing repeated expensive repairs on his new engine. Turned out he had never opened the operating manual and was cooking the engine on nearly every flight. I'm surprised he lived to complain about it
