Brit visiting Canada, can I get a motorcycle licence?
hi everyone,
I am in the Caribbean, and am trying to find a way to get my motorcycle licence to ride the Trans american trail (USA).
Where i am, it seems to be taking incredible amounts of time and money, and so I'm researching other ways i could get it. In the USA, you must have at least a resident or student visa, ie i couldn't be a visitor and pass my motorcycle licence.
I wonder if its the same in canada? I am a UK citizen, and already have my full DRIVERS licence, for cars, but no motorcycle licence.
many thanks for any advice,
paris

My advise is forget the bikes and just rent a car.
Always ask why.

It's not possible for a non-resident to get a drivers or riders license in Canada just as it is not possible for a non-UK resident to get one there.dr_bar wrote:I don't know if it's possible to get the motorcycle endorsement if you're a non-resident. If you have your motorcycle licence in UK then it should be valid in Canada.
Always ask why.
