Actually, the spelling and grammar mistakes I see on every forum like this one make ME not want to be a part of anything any more! I can't tell you how many times a day I see there/their/they're used incorrectly, and the words "lose" and "loose" misused (especially in this forum in particular).
I not only proof-read every post, but I actually hit the "Preview" button and read it over to make sure all the quotes and bold and what-not came out okay. It's important to me that my posts reflect my level on intelligence, my educational background, and my desire to make my posts legible for my fellow members. It's a way of showing respect for myself and others.
