Been waiting a long time.

#1 Unread post by BubbaGee »

I've been wanting to learn to ride for quite some time and this weekend I'm taking the first step. I'm taking my BRC class this weekend. I'm a little nervous but I've wanted this for over 15 years but I could never seem to find the time. Thanks to my wife pushing me I've finally made the time. I hope to get my first bike after completing the class. Wish me luck.

Bubba, Welcome to TMW! You're gonna wish you had started riding years ago. No matter though, you're doing it now! Don't be nervous about the BRC. Just sit back and enjoy it. Congrats! 8)

Good Luck . I took the MSF course. It was the best money ever spent.
I bought my first bike a month later, and now I can't stop riding. :D

You will enjoy the class. It is a great way to get used to the feeling of riding a motorcycle. Remember to keep your head up and as my rider coach kept saying: "Smile - your having fun!"

Well BubbaGee as I type this you should be learning about FINE-C, Thumb-Key-Valve, clutch friction zone, counter-steering. Ahhh..It almost brings a tear to my eye.

Good Luck!

Welcome aboard! I pushed my husband into riding when I first signed up for the safety course. Now we both ride - it's great! Maybe your wife will want to ride too. Have fun and ride safe.

Cheers,
Loonette
