Hi fetz

Welcome to the site.

What is the riding like in Lebanon?

Do you ride much elsewhere in the Middle East?

Are you Lebanese? or just living there?

A hundred and one questions bubbling up here.

Good to have you on board

Regards

Richard

Ah silly me!

Didn't see that little 'pa' lurking there.

Well, glad to know you are not going to get blown up by this or that militia, anyhow.

Hi Mr Stark. Mmmmmm! (ditto) Sausages.

**** I can feel a culinary hijack coming on...

Sorry Lebanon - er.. fetz (You know even 'fetz' sounds vaguely Middle Eastern. Are you sure you aren't...? No, all right, forget it.)

(Have I ever mentioned to anyone that Hertfordshire-UK is actually a small mountain village in Tajikistan?)

I've never heard of the Lebanon Bologna sausage. But I'm very partial to dry sausages. Next time I am in a London deli I'll look out to see if I can find one.

We don't have much of a tradition of making dry sausages in the UK - Why would we? We've got the traditional 'banger'. (Slaver...!)

My favourite British banger is the pork and apple sausage from the West Country - filled with minced pork, sage and apples, mositened with lashings of scrumpy (raw - very raw - cider), and then stuffed into natural casings.

They are very good in a packed lunch when you are on a long ride. (He said, deftly turning the subject back to motorcycles.)

All done now, fetz. From here on in, I'll leave your thread in peace. Thanks for the hospitality.

I'm about 1 1/2 hours east of you. We like to come over and ride in Pennsy - lots more good roads than south Jersey. Back roads in Berks County are fun and beautiful. Don't get all the way over to Lebanon Co. too often though.
