Vibration in bones
Everytime I let the bike go in the higher rpms (8000 +) for extended periods of time(about 40 minutes to 1 hour), my bones in my hands and wrists feel like they are tuning forks that were just struck. This pretty much only happens when I have to take a highway since I don't rev up so high otherwise. The feeling generally lasts maybe 10-20 minutes or so, but is very uncomfortable. Has anyone else had this feeling before? Is there any way to dampen the vibrations?

I do this with my Shiver because it's a totally naked bike. So when I grip it I GRIP IT.
I finally realized I need to loosen up and when I did it helps a lot. I still tense up from time to time but my elbow reminds me with some pain

Make sure the carbs are sync'd. Is one of your mirrors blurrier than the other?Dragon on Wheels wrote: Is there any way to dampen the vibrations?
Bar end weights may help also.

Thanks everyone! I'm gripping the bars too hard. I'm actually bent a bit forward when I'm on the highway because if I sit up straight the wind blasts right into me which probably causes me to lean into my wrists. I sit up straight when I'm on local roads so it doesn't happen. I'll have to remind myself to keep the pressure off.

Ah, well that'll do it! Use your legs more or lean on the tank... Usually helps me when I'm on a sportbike (with a stomach like mine the wrists don't like sportbikes!
