Aftermarket comfortable m/c seats?
It seems that Yamaha put the most uncomfortable seat they could find on my -07 650 Silverado.
I can't ride for more than an hour without tailbone pain.
Husband is having the same problem on his also.
Our weight difference is 160 vs 220 lbs, so that doesn't seem to be it since we are both feeling the pain.
We get off every hour, but by the end of the day, it seems cumulative and starts hurting every half hour or so.
Any suggestions on aftermarket seats?
Anybody a Corbin or Mustang fan?
How about the aftermarket seats Yamaha sells?
I don't anticipate luxury, but I sure don't want pain! Kinda takes my mind off riding safety when I'm thinking about my butt!
Sure would appreciate any opinions from you experienced riders with more miles under your belts than us.
Thanks!

Spouse Thingy has a Mustang seat on his VLX; he prefers it over the stick seat for sure, but he's mentioned more than once lately he wishes he'd gotten the Corbin instead.
Could be because he bought his used and it was broken in to someone else's butt...but I suspect he's going to buy a Corbin before the year is over.

I didn't like Corbins. (well built but uncomfortable) Most people that have Russell Day Long seats swear by them even if they look weird. I like the old S&M seats from the 60s. (spring lo=aded)

I never had one but the general consensus is that Russell are the most comfortable. The one downfall(and the reason I never got them) is that they are beyond mfugly looking.slimcolo wrote:I didn't like Corbins.
