I just recently bought a 2002 roadstar silverado
I was trying to clean it up
but i ran across a big problem:
I can't get the riders seat off i'm following the manual but for some reason the seat still catches on something and i can't seem to identify what it is catching on
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't panic man, some seats have to unbolt first then slide back a bit, then lift. So take your time, its most likely something small.
I had a similar situation with my Vulcan and when I realised what it was I tried really hard to kick myself but my foot wouldn't reach.
