No flapping with the Chaps!!!!!
They are quite a snug fit and the bottom has 3 snaps to they fit around your boots!
What do you wear for pants?

Although I wear icon recon jeans, I wear chaps in the cooler weather, or on long trips to unfamiliar areas. No flapping...three snaps at the bottom of the leg, and full length zipper for the rest. Get the heavy ones, they're worth the extra price.
Ride safe...God bless!

Re: What do you wear for pants?
Those look like they're worth having. You could wear them under any pants so you aren't always wearing the same pair of padded jeans every day of the week. You could even ride in shorts with those! ooooh i must get...stargazertony wrote:Or, does anyone make some type of armor or knee pads that fit under your jeans and arent too awkward to wear not on the bike?
Icon makes a produce called Field Armor Leg. Link here http://www.newenough.com/armor_icon_fie ... g_page.htm
I think they are meant to be work under pants.

"Choose your gear by how long you wish to stick to the sheets"
- I can't remember where I read that, but it's sooo true.
Unfortunately I often ride (commute) in Jeans, becaue changing at work in the summer is hassle. I can't ever see riding in shorts though.
But I still wear Helmet, and a jacket of some sort, either mesh, textile, or leather.
Summer, mostly mesh, and I have mesh pants as well that I wear on most rides.
Fall and inbetween, I have a couple of textile jackets and pants combos, when it gets really chilly then the one piece Fieldshier suit.
I'll get a Stitch some day...
