Hello, I recently purchased a vulcan 750. The person I purchased it from mentioned that after removing and cleaning the carburetor that the bike no longer starts. I checked and the rear 2 plugs have no spark. Does anyone know of anything I should look for?
I checked the 2 wires (red and dark green) coming into the rear ignition coil, and both appear to be fine. I also checked the continuity between the two wires entering the coil and there was continuity. I compared the front coil which works and the rear coil which does not and the continuity and voltage entering the coils seem the same. Is there anything else I can check?
Thanks
86 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 no spark from rear 2 plugs
Figured it out
I found that the cdi had failed. I have ordered a new one.

No Spark
Sounds like a bad coil. Maybe you can switch coils to see if one is bad.
