I've heard a couple people say we need a place to show off their photography skills. I got this shot at Thunderbird State Park outside Norman OK.

Taken with a Fujifilm Finepics S700..

I like the super macro function on my Canon.

And the color accent thingy is fun too.

I like that top portrait jonnythan. I would like to learn to do good portraits but I need to get better at setting up the camera just right. If anyone wants to include tips in this thread I know I would appreciate it. Some other newbies might too.

I like the sunset too Johnj. Is that around where you live?

Photography tip #1.

When shooting landscapes, scenics, sunsets.....anything with a horizon line.....it is important to make sure the horizon line is level. It is also better if it not directly in the center.

So the next time you look through your camera, make sure you really look to see what details are there......like possibly a slanted horizon line.
