My first bike was a bike identical to that. It was a little too heavy and it had more power than I really could have learned with. I did survive though.

It did take a little maintenance to get it running. In my opinion it was not heavy maintenance, just changing a couple bulbs and putting a new speddo cable in.

This is my 1992 750 Nighthawk I sold early this spring to help pay for my 2008 C50T....

The Honda Nighthawks are the most reliable bikes on the road....

I got $2500.00 for the bike and it WAS in showroom condition, only had 7,000 miles on the clock.......
