If you hit a tennis ball, that could cause you to loose control. Get some sidewalk chaulk.

Hadn't thought of that - tennis balls cut in half were suggested in one of the practice guides - but that chalk makes more sense. :thankssign: for the suggestion.

I got some of those small cones from the dollar store and guess what they were only a dollar $...(sorry my warped sense of humor comes out every now and then, I must be jonezin for a ride). Did you get to check out WWW.loe1000.org, I hope you can make it. If not hubby and I will be passing by so I will give you a :waves: as we ride thru.
I follow a new highway I haven't traveled before.

Thanks Follow - :ohyea: the $ store - I hadn't thought of looking there. I did check out LOE1000, that sounds like a blast. My hubby has a weird work sked, weekends & evenings for the next few months, so we'll probably won't make it this year, but next year.... Give :waves: as you go by!

If you dont have a dollar store nearby or they are out of cones, go to your local sporting goods store, they use those cones for soccer, football etc.. practice

I used orange cones from the sore. They were pretty light. Matter of fact, on windy days they wouldn't stay put.

Wow, I never thought of that. Since I haven't had the MSF class yet, I could practice the cones in my SUV.

My friend got some at Lowes. They are really light. I also got some tennis balls, but haven't tried them yet. They are a pain to try and cut in two. We didn't get many cones, but used them to make "curves" in the parking lot. I would take it from different sides with each pass.

Durn. I bought a bunch of cheap tennis balls and I was hoping I'd figure out an easy way to cut them.

Where there's a will. . .

Poke a hole, then use heavy duty bandage shears.
